Gigabyte is improving on its already impressive Aero 15 laptop by squeezing in an NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1070 graphics card. The original Aero 15 features a GTX 1060 6GB. However, the new Aero 15 X goes one better with the GTX 1070. The GTX 1070 in question is the Max-Q version of the card. As a result, it will run a little slower than the desktop version. Specifically, it clocks at 1442MHz base and 1645MHz boost. Either way, it’s an upgrade on the Aero 15’s GTX 1060.
Apart from the GTX 1070 upgrade, the Aero 15 X specs seem the same as the Aero 15.
The Gigabyte Aero 15 X is out mid-October. Price is currently unknown.
