Gigabyte G1 Gaming GTX 1070 Graphics Card Review

Doom

As expected, the graphics card doesn’t encounter any issues when running the Doom benchmark and has enough horsepower to uphold a stable frame-rate beyond 120.

After the resolution was set to 1440p, the graphics card retained its strong showing and matched the Gigabyte G1 Gaming GTX 980Ti. Despite outputting a better average frame-rate than the Fury X, the minimum was much lower which suggests Vulkan performance is more consistent on AMD hardware.

Even when a 4K monitor is used, the graphics card provides a very playable frame-rate and isn’t miles away from the GTX 1080.
