In Far Cry Primal, the Gigabyte G1 Gaming GTX 1080 manages to achieve an excellent frame-rate and almost reaches the top spot.
During 1440p testing, the graphics card falls a few frames behind the Inno3D GTX 1080 iChill X3 but it’s not enough to warrant any concern. Additionally, the GPU actually reports a better minimum frame-rate than the competition.
Once again, the narrow gap between three GTX 1080 editions means it’s difficult to draw any conclusions. Evidently, the Gigabyte G1 Gaming GTX 1080’s lower boost clock doesn’t result in a major frame-rate drop.
