Gigabyte G1.Sniper2 Z68 Motherboard Review

The box can only be described as having a military feel to it with some camoflauge type colours and some brief logos of the exclusive features that this board incorporates.
The rear gives a view of what the board looks like and a whole host of information on its key features including the Super Speed, Super Shield, Super Hearing and much more. This board really does have some unique features that other similar boards can’t contend with.
Opening things up and taking a first look at what comes included, we find a double sided poster and a few stickers for pimping your chassis out with. Not a huge fan of these myself but it’s a little added bonus that shows why this board is one of the best on the market, or so it may seem.
Also included is the usual bits and bobs that we expect, starting with an installation guide, multilingual guidebook, and Gigabyte case badge sticker. Also including is a driver installation CD, user’s manual and I/O panel shield plate.
Four Sata cables come bundled in with this board, of which two feature right-angled connectors and an SLI connector bridge for those wishing to test out some multi GPU action.
Not wanting to skimp on the accessories, there is even more little goodies thrown at you in the form of a front bay panel and mounting screws for your chassis. This front bay panel includes two USB 3.0 ports, an eSATA/USB combo port and a Quick Boost button for those wanting, well, a quick boost.
Overall the panel is black and quite stylish featuring the Gigabyte branding and should have most users finding that it should seamlessly integrate with their case.
