Gaming Performance
Shadow of the Tomb Raider
Straight away, we can see that the RTX 2070 White is a solid performer, setting our fourth highest score at 4K for any GPU, which is no bad thing. Frame rates are high on both 1080p and 1440p tests, although maybe dropping to somewhere between medium and high settings for 4K is best.
Deus Ex: Mankind Divided
Deus Ex continues to prove to be a very demanding game to run, especially at 4K resolution. The game only hit 40.7 FPS at high settings at 4K, although that’s still faster than the Vega 64, GTX 1080, and 1070 Ti.
Ghost Recon: Wildlands
The performance in Ghost Recon was about the same too, scoring over a 100 at 1080p, which is awesome. Furthermore, 83 FPS at 1440p is also pretty fantastic. We hit a decent 50 FPS at 4K, but again, I would drop some settings to bump that over 60 FPS, but it will game at 4K.
Middle Earth: Shadow of War
Another new entry for our gaming benchmarks is Shadow of War, and it’s also proving to be pretty demanding. However, just like the other games, this card is over 100 FPS at 1080, hitting 80 FPS at 1440p, and under 60 at 4K. Again, it’s still very playable at 4K, but this is a more robust 1440p card for sure.
Battlefield V
It’s almost like clockwork here yet again, offering similar performance to the other RTX 2070 cards, albeit a handful of frames slower. Over a 100 FPS at 1080p, 77 FPS at 1440p, and 51 at 4K. I’m actually surprised it go that high an FPS at 4K though, especially given how stunning Battlefield V looks. Again, keep in mind we’re using the “high” profile for all games.
