Gigabyte has released the official photos for their own custom GeForce GTX 1080 Ti AORUS Xtreme Edition graphics card featuring a massive triple-slot design and RGB LED. At its core, all of NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1080 Ti will use the same GPU and memory configuration so when it comes to partner card releases, the difference lies mostly in the custom cooling design and bonus features included. The Gigabyte GeForce GTX 1080 Ti AORUS Extreme graphics card is outfitted with the latest Windforce cooling design that utilizes three fans with a center counter rotating fan and a direct copper contact 6-heatpipe design similar to the GTX 1080 Aorus Xtreme Edition. It also has built-in backplate pre-installed.
Like the GeForce GTX 1080 Xtreme Edition, the GTX 1080 Ti AORUS version has RGB LED function on the side with a glowing AORUS logo and shroud lighting on the fan area that can be adjusted with up to 16.8 million color choices. The GIGABYTE GTX 1080 Ti AORUS Xtreme Edition Video Card however only has a single VR-link HDMI port on the front corner (compared to two with the GTX 1080 XE) above the heatsink and has two HDMI ports, two DisplayPorts, and one DVI port on the rear IO for a total of six display connectors in total. Like most other custom GTX 1080 Ti graphics cards on the market, Gigabyte is keeping the specifics about its out of the box GPU clocks close to the chest until close to release date which is on mid-April, so as to be competitive with other brands.
