Gigabyte GTX 780 Ti GHz Edition 3GB Graphics Card Review
Unigine Heaven 4.0
“Heaven Benchmark with its current version 4.0 is a GPU-intensive benchmark that hammers graphics cards to the limits. This powerful tool can be effectively used to determine the stability of a GPU under extremely stressful conditions, as well as check the cooling system’s potential under maximum heat output. It provides completely unbiased results and generates true in-game rendering workloads across all platforms, such as Windows, Linux and Mac OS X.” From Unigine.com.
Why only with 3GB RAM???
Good question. I think that’s an Nvidia limitation because if people want more than 3GB Nvidia wants them to buy the 6GB GTX Titan.
I feel the same way; it’s a fast card, but I fear the memory won’t allow it to be very future-proof at resolutions of 2560×1440 and above. I really wanted the R9 290x, but the blackscreen problem has me very wary of the card, even though it has some awesome specs for high resolution gaming. I’m building a computer in a few weeks and now I believe I will use a 780 TI at 1080p. I know it’s overkill, but I think with it’s 3gb of memory this configuration will give me the most longevity.
