GIGABYTE has revealed their RTX 4070 GPUS with too many options to choose from with 5 different cooler designs.
The RTX 4070 is now available with an MSRP of $599, it features an AD104-250 chip with 5888 CUDA cores at a base clock of 1920 and a boost of 2475. The card features 12GB of GDDR6X on a 192-bit bus providing a bandwidth of 504 GB/s and a TDP of 200W. Our full review of the card can be read here. As with every GPU release, we also get various cards from other AIBs in various designs with different cooling capabilities so let’s have a look at what’s on the market from GIGABYTE
At the top of Gigabyte’s offerings is the AORUS Master which offers incredible performance and cooling as well as a sharp design. The AORUS Master features the new WINDFORCE cooling system with bionic shark fan blades which increase static pressure by up to 30% whilst reducing noise levels by 3dB. The WINDFORCE system also utilises graphene nano lubricant on the fans. The larger heatsink module with angular fins creates more surface area and cooling capacity than ever before. Due to the size of the heatsink GIGABYTE has taken extra care in providing a more durable structure to support the weight and prevent sagging. The card features the signature triple-ring RGB halo lights which are fully addressable.
Next up is the GIGABYTE AERO OC which is the white and silver offering from GIGABYTE. AERO is popular for users who demand a minimalistic style and again utilises the WINDFORCE cooling system with unique alternate spinning fan blades. Like the AORUS Master, the AERO OC features dual BIOS as well as a durable design to help prevent sagging.
The GAMING OC 4070 again adopts the WINDFORCE cooling system and features a fairly simplisticblack design with RGB halo lights around the fan blades. The card makes use of an excellent power phases design and ULTRA DURABLE-certified components.
The EAGLE range from GIGABYTE again utilises the WINDFORCE cooling system and features a grey design with light blue accents giving a spaceship or robotic vibe to the design. The card makes use of an excellent power phases design and ULTRA DURABLE-certified components.
The WINDFORCE range from GIGABYTE as per its name utilises the WINDFORCE cooling system and is designed to be just above the basic level when it comes to cooling. The card makes use of an excellent power phases design and ULTRA DURABLE-certified components. The design of the card is very plain with no flashy RGB and is perfect for those wanting a dark understated build.
This is a wide selection of cards from GIGABYTE which all appear the same on paper but offer several different designs which in my opinion, out of all cards I’ve seen today, are the worst. The cards will be priced starting from $599.
