GIGABYTE Launches The AORUS 16 Gaming Laptop

GIGABYTE has expanded its gaming laptop lineup with the launch of the AORUS 16 gaming laptop with a 16-inch 240Hz display.

GIGABYTE AORUS 16

The AORUS 16 features the latest 13th Gen Intel Core i7 H series processor paired up with the NVIDIA RTX 4070 which drives a blazing fast 16″ 2560×1600 240Hz display. The laptop is further equipped with the latest DDR5-4800 RAM as well as a PCIe Gen4 SSD and is kept cool by its unique quad-fan Windforce Infinity cooling system. With these next-gen specs, the AORUS 16 is capable of taking on the latest AAA titles.

WindForce Infinity Cooling System

Keeping this system cool is the supercharged Windforce Infinity cooling system which introduces a quad-fan cooling design. The fans utilise extremely thin blades to allow for greater inlet space and in turn greatly increase cooling efficiency. The heat dissipation of this system can reach a TDP of 160W.

16-Inch QHD 240Hz Display

The AORUS 16 features a 16-inch QHD (2560×1600) display with a refresh rate of up to a blazing fast 240Hz which supports MUX switch technology. This display also boasts a 100% sRGB wide colour gamut as well as several eye-protection technologies with TÜV Rheinland low blue light and flicker-free certifications. GIGABYTE has also introduced automatic brightness adjustments based on the light source in the room for extra comfort.

I/O And Design

The AORUS 16 features a stylish black design with a rainbow bridge RGB light strip as well as the AORUS logo behind the display. In total the laptop features 8 I/O ports, including RJ45, HDMI, USB and Thunderbolt 4 and DC-In for the almost 99 Wh battery, all placed along the rear and left side of the laptop. There is also an included FHD 1080p camera with full Windows Hello facial recognition support.
