Gigabyte X99-SOC

GIGABYTE announced the launch of their new X99-SOC Champion E-ATX motherboard built around the 5th Gen Intel Core processors and X99 chipset and packed with great features.

The motherboard is designed especially with overclocking in mind and it has some unique and great features for this. The memory is located physically closer to the CPU which in return allows for more accurate and faster communication between the two. It also has a fully digital power design from International Rectifier that includes the 4th Generation digital PWM Controllers and industry-leading 3rd Generation PowIRstage controllers.

Storage isn’t an issue for this board either. It comes with Turbo M.2 port for up to 20Gb/s of transfer speed as well as SATA Express connector for up to 10Gb/s. It is also great to see that this board can take full advantage of all 40 PCI Express lanes to give maximum speed to those slots, even when they’re all occupied.
