Gigabyte Mini-ITX Nvidia 2070 Card Revealed
Mini-ITX builds are certainly very popular amongst many in the PC community. There is a clear benefit of having a small and compact system (and not just from a convenience factor). You have to admire the way in which some people manage the simplicity (or complexity) of cramming as much power as possible into a tiny chassis.
With this in mind, if you want a powerful mini-ITX system, you’re going to need a good graphics card to back it up. As such, in a report via Videocardz, a leaked image of an upcoming Gigabyte GeForce RTX 2070 has appeared and this could be a perfect solution to your next system.
Excellent Power!
Having reviewed the Nvidia 2070, we know that it is an excellent graphics card. Yes, you can argue about the price, but for Gigabyte to effectively jam all that power effectively into such a small card is certainly remarkable. Speaking of performance, the card is believed to have the Turing TU106 GPU with 2304 CUDA cores. In addition, it will also have 8GB of GDDR6 memory with clock speeds of 1410/1620 MHz. It is not believed that the model will be sold overclocked. That isn’t, however, entirely unusual for mini-ITX variants.
When Is It Out?
At the time of writing, we do not have a specific release date for this graphics cards. Based on reports of similar mini-ITX 2070 GPUs though, we should expect this to release either in or before January 2019. If you are planning your next mini-ITX build, you certainly might want to give this some consideration.
