GIGABYTE Releases New H110-D3A Motherboard for Mining

GPU mining has its ups and downs but manufacturers will always be there to provide hardware solutions if the demand exists. That is why GIGABYTE is throwing their hat in the ring and releasing their new H110-D3A motherboard specifically designed for GPU mining with its seven PCIe expansion slots. To keep these PCIe slots fed properly, two auxiliary 4-pin molex headers are available on board.

Seven PCIe expansion slots is not setting the world alight with its uniqueness. Considering Biostar has a 12-PCIe option and ASRock has a 13-PCIe motherboard available. What the Gigabyte H110-D3A offers however are the same peace of mind offered with their mainstream, ‘Ultra Durable’ motherboards.
The motherboard supports a pair of DDR4 memory modules. As for storage, there are four SATA3 6G ports and one M.2 slot for a SATA drives. In terms of additional storage connectivity, the motherboard also has a 19-pin USB 3.0 header and a pair of 9-pin USB 2.0 headers onboard. There are also two additional USB 2.0 and two more USB 3.0 ports in the rear IO.
The Gigabit Ethernet and the on-board audio solution is using Realtek ICs. There are three re-taskable ports for the ALC887 HD audio codec in the rear IO. With regards to integrated graphics support, a D-sub connector is available.
