Gigabyte P35W v5 Gaming Laptop Review

Storage and USB Performance

CrystalDiskMark – Sequential Read

The P35W v5’s NVMe boot SSD offers phenomenal read speeds which makes a complete mockery of traditional SATA-based products. As you can see, this is a major upgrade from the P34W v3, and a huge selling point for consumers wanting a ridiculously fast drive. Additionally, the 7200RPM mechanical hard drive provides excellent speeds and is the fastest we’ve encountered on any laptop thus far.

CrystalDiskMark – Sequential Write

When it comes to write performance, the boot drive excels and once again attains the highest score from a gaming laptop at the time of writing. The traditional hard disk numbers are also very good and reiterates how impressive the laptop is in the storage department.
