The model we are reviewing features the HD display, so we have omitted the higher resolution tests for obvious reasons. Equipped with a powerful Core i7-7700HQ CPU and the Nvidia GTX 1070, it’s obviously going to be a fast system. Deus Ex is a tough game to run, but it blasted through it with ease, scoring a minimum of 77.3FPS.
Tomb Raider didn’t get in its way either. Scoring an average of 116.8FPS means you’ll not be left wanting more while gaming on the P56XT.
Now we’re getting into the big leagues, one of the most demanding benchmarks we run is Ghost Recon. Again, the minimum is over 70FPS, and the average was almost 100FPS. That’s a fantastic score, and even on Medium, this game is a graphical tour-de-force.
Far Cry primal was pretty much the same store, with the minimum above 70 and almost 100 average. Overall, it’s clear that you could get away with an increase in graphics quality using the P56XT!
