Gigabyte P67A-UD7 Motherboard Review

Intel have been on top form this year with the release of Sandybridge to rival AMD’s upcoming Bulldozer platform and plenty of manufacturers have been keen to get their products into market. One of our favourite brands being Gigabyte who offer motherboards with the latest technology in a stylish form.

Today sees us taking a look at the P67 platform and Gigabyte’s top board in the range; the UD7 which gives us some amazing features and top performance figures on paper but does it live up to it in the real world?

This is the first P67 board review we’re releasing but with plenty of other boards at our disposal, we were able to see exactly how this board compares in real-world situations as well as providing benchmarks for the number crazy addict users out there who like to squeeze every ounce out of their system which is what we’re most excited about with the Sandy Bridge platform and its overclocking potential.

The board also boasts a sexy black style with gold accents, leaving this to be one to drool over, and with the potential to overclock to the limits, we were very excited about getting our hands on this board and seeing what it could really do.
