Gigabyte Radeon HD 6870 OC Graphics Card Review

Dirt 3Dirt 3 was released in May 2011 and is the third in the Dirt series offering a complete overhaul in terms of graphics for the DirectX 11 platform which extreme lighting effects and reflections as well as showcasing fast moving graphics and using in game physics to bring the most extreme quality in terms of video rendering.

Dirt 3 is a new test for us, hence only having one other card for comparison purposes. Even though the 6870 fell short compared to the GTX 560 it shows the potential behind the card on the latest games with the latest technology. It is also worth noting that the GTX 560 Ti that we compared it to is just over £200 to buy, whereas the 6870 is a damn sight cheaper.
