As part of the ongoing release of Pascal graphics cards, various Nvidia AIB partners have released or launched their custom GTX 1070 cards. Soon enough, the Founders Edition reference card will be joined by arguably better and cheaper versions of the GTX 1070. Today, Gigabyte has launched their first custom GTX 1070, the new G1.Gaming graphics card. Hopefully, we’ll be seeing a XTREME Gaming version of the card as well.Like all of Gigabyte upcoming cards and those of their competitors, the new G1.Gaming features full RGB lighting. This allows custom lighting to suit a specific theme, controllable through the XTREME Engine utility. Gigabyte has also provided LED lights to indicate fan status, power status, as well as orange accents all around. For cooling, there are 2 composite copper heatpipes along with WINDFORE 3X and 3D Active Fan which turns off the fans when the card is under light load or idle. This is a feature that many AIB partners are adding as it means a lot less noise when you just watching a video or browsing. For power, we have 6+2 VRM phases which aren’t that many but the use of the 8pin PCIe power connector should give some room for overclocking. No word yet has been given about pricing.
