Gigabyte makes well known motherboards and video cards but their cases aren’t so well known. Gigabyte has today added to its range of PC cases, with the GZ-P5 Plus case which will enter the highly contested mid tower segment of the market. The Plus model is a tweaked version of the original GZ-P5 case that is slightly larger measuring in at (180 x 420 x 380 mm) but is slightly lighter at 3.2KG instead of 3.5KG.
The case supports ATX and mATX right out of the box and features a glossy black front panel design. The front panel features two USB 2.0 ports and the usual audio jacks. There are four external 5.25″ bays and one external 3.5″ bay in addition to another four internal 3.5″ bays. It comes with a pre installed rear 80mm exhaust fan with room for another 80mm fan on the left side panel. The power supply is top mounted and there is only a small amount of room for video cards from a quick glance it appears you will probably only manage 10-11″ cards because of the hard drive cage. No pricing yet but it is definitely a budget orientated case so should be well priced.
