Both of the cards overclocked pretty well. In fact, we got exactly a 6.57 boost out of both cards in 3DMark FireStrike. What’s interesting, however, is that this came at a much higher increase in power, noise, and temperature for the Gaming OC than the Windforce OC. This was likely because the Gaming OC was already pretty highly tuned from the factory, while the Windforce OC wouldn’t push as hard overall.
Both cards are certainly worthy of being pushed a little harder though. We saw good FPS gains overall that could be just what you need to top your own FPS targets.
