Chris Hadley / 14 years ago
With the new LGA1155 platform from Intel soon on its way for the early stages of next year, Gigabyte has been busy creating a new range of boards for this new platform based on the P67 and H67 chipsets.
All of these boards will have support for Intel’s ‘Sandy Bridge’ chips, as well as at least one PCIe x16 socket and TWO SATA 6Gbps ports. Boards with an ‘A’ in the model number will also have USB3.0 capability.
There are 12 boards to date that we know of and these are broken down into 3 groups:
Intel P67 series:
Gigabyte P67A-UD7
Gigabyte P67A-UD5
Gigabyte P67A-UD4
Gigabyte P67A-UD3R
Gigabyte P67A-UD3P
Gigabyte P67A-UD3
Intel H67 series:
Gigabyte H67MA-UD2H
Gigabyte H67MA-D2H
Gigabyte H67M-D2
Gigabyte H67A-UD3H
Intel PH67 series:
Gigabyte PH67A-UD3

So what are the differences between all these boards I hear you ask. We’ll let the specs and pictures do all the talking on the folling pages.
