GIGABYTE Set To Release a Low Profile RTX 4060 With Triple Fan Design

GIGABYTE has decided to keep up with its trend of almost entirely triple fan models for the RTX 40 series and has now decided to create a triple fanned low profile RTX 4060, a first in the industry.
GIGABYTE Triple Fanned Low Profile RTX 4060
As shared by VideoCardz, GIGABYTE is looking to release an RTX 4060 low-profile model with three fans keeping up with GIGABYTE’s fear of less than three fans on a card for this generation. This card is a first-of-its-kind as well as the first low-profile design for the 4060. The card uses a shrunk-down variant of the Gaming OC card with three tiny fans which don’t appear to use the WindForce alternating fan rotation technology. Currently, there is no information on size however it doesn’t look all that much longer than the GIGABYTE GTX 1650 Low Profile so I’d guess around 170mm.
Interesting But Odd
Whilst this card is quite interesting, it is a bit odd for GIGABYTE to choose three fans considering 2 would surely do the job just fine but then again no harm in creating something new and unique. In terms of specs this card most likely does not feature a factory overclock due to its small size but that size hasn’t compromised on display outputs. With its slimmed-down design, GIGABYTE has still managed to stack three DisplayPort and a single HDMI on the I/O.
This design is sure to appeal to ITX builders even more than existing models and I’ll be interested to see how well those tiny fans perform especially where noise levels are concerned.
