Gigabyte has teased their next generation motherboards in the Aorus form and while it doesn’t show much, it does offer a glimpse into the things we’re going to see in full very shortly. There are a lot of RGB features shown in this Aorus teaser video and that seems to be the general thing at the moment. While RGB coloring doesn’t make it go faster, it can make everything look a lot cooler when it is being used correctly.
Some of the easiest things to spot in the video are the large heatsinks for the VRM and southbridge, all with nice lighting effects and Aorus logos, but there are more things shown. The memory slots, for example, seem to have LED stripes in-between which surely will give any memory a great look.
There are at least three PCI-Express x16 slots with shielding for extra sturdiness. The metal shielding will also reflect all the LED features nicely. Besides that, we see that it will have the AMP-Up audio features and onboard power, overclocking, and reset buttons.
On top of the video teaser, Gigabyte is also giving away Steam gift codes to 21 lucky people with a small giveaway chance. The entry is simple as you’ll only have to like and leave a comment. So head over to the official Gigabyte Motherboards Facebook page in case you want to try your luck on that too.
