Gigabyte is launching a new motherboard for Intel’s X-Series HEDT processors. Indeed, the Gigabyte X299 Aorus Gaming 7 Pro supports Intel’s 18-core i9-7980XE CPU, includes quad-channel DDR4 memory support (8 DIMMs), and is Optane-ready. The Aorus Gaming 7 Pro also includes Turbo B-Clock tuning IC for custom overclocking. Finally, the board features 12 power phases, each providing up to 60 amps.
