Now that the Kaby Lake architecture’s higher-end mobile processors have been released, Gigabyte swiftly updated their laptop range to take advantage of the extra processing power and 4K video capabilities. The Gigabyte P56X comes with the all-new Intel Core i7-7700HQ, a 4K IPS display, per-key RGB backlighting, Thunderbolt 3 and a 91Wh battery. In a similar vein to the previous model, the laptop incorporates orange accents alongside each side to add a more distinctive touch.
The P55W v7 and P55W R7 utilise the 7th Generation Intel Core i7-7700HQ, DDR4 2400MHz up to 32GB RAM and an extremely fast boot M.2 drive. Additionally, the product supports the USB 3.1 Type-C protocol and has HDMI 2.0 to drive a 4K monitor at 60Hz. When it comes to graphics hardware, the GTX 1060 has been selected and can deliver a splendid gaming experience. Unlike some of the previously discussed models, the P55W v7 and P55W R7 opts for illumination in a single white shade.
The Aero 14 is possibly one of the Gigabyte’s most impressive gaming laptops due to the sleek construction and slimline design. To coincide with the Kaby Lake launch, Gigabyte swapped out the i7-6700HQ for the i7-7800HQ. Initially, the laptop utilised a GTX 970M but the latest revision includes the GTX 1060. Not only that, the unit has a hefty 94.24Wh battery which can last up to 10 hours in commonly used tasks such as web browsing and writing documents. The Aero 14 is a mere 19.9mm thick and weighs 1.9KG. This makes it a stunning choice for users travelling on a daily basis who want something with enough horsepower to play demanding games in their downtime.
