Our initial tests for the Uranium were promising, we’ve got a low sensor lift off height of 1-2mm, I could find no instances of prediction or angle snapping across any of the DPI settings.
There was a minor bit of acceleration on the sensor, although this only seemed to happen my Zowie Rough surface mouse mat with the polling rate set to 1000. It was low enough that you wouldn’t notice or find it unless you were specifically looking for it like I was, if we did scores on this sort of thing I would say the sensor is a 9 out of 10.
There are few ways to test the wireless tech of the mouse, so I ran it through the www.humanbenchmark.com test, this is a random timed test of reaction speeds and a few runs gives you a rough idea of input lag for wired and wireless devices. As you can see, the Aivia Uranium scored 256.5 and 242.8 after two runs of 10 tries each.
I did the same test with a wired mouse, the TteSports Volos, which scores 235.8 and 253.8 after two runs. Overall the score is very close, closer to wired than any other wireless mouse I’ve ever tested and unless you’re a cyborg you’ll have a hard time noticing the 5ms average difference in response times.
