Ghost Macro Station & Software Performance

While the mouse does come with some comprehensive software that we will be looking at shortly, the real magic is the Ghost Station, a device that pairs with the mouse to allow you on the fly settings changes, without the need to use the desktop software, meaning you don’t have to tab out of your game to get the mode you want, or take a glance at your current configuration, battery life, etc.

One seriously cool feature is that you can load a .bmp file into the software and convert it to display on the screen, I just ripped our logo, loaded it and BAM! Easily the coolest screensaver the Ghost will ever see, am I right?

The settings are pretty extensive too, there are five profiles and you can configure the button configuration for the mouse via the Ghost, as well as access macro functions and more. There is also a light up Aivia logo, this has five colour schemes, one for each of the five profiles and this can also be configured.

The software features a snazzy tiled interface that allows you to update your mouse firmware, access forums and command other Aivia products.

The profiles tab allows you to customise each button, and it is laid out in an easy to follow format.

Click the button you want to configure and you get the options to pick from basic configurations, map any keyboard or mouse key, or record a macro.

The macro recorder is comprehensive, allowing for cool down timers, looped commands and more.

Finally, the settings tab allows you a quick over view to change major performance settings such as DPI and report rate, although the bulk of this information is also handled on the Ghost Station.
