Gigabyte Giving Away Steam Vouchers and Swag with X299 Motherboard Purchase

In celebration of Intel’s X299 platform release, Gigabyte is offering free items to entice users to upgrade. The giveaway varies by region but otherwise, it ranges from a €40 Steam voucer to a full swag pack. MSI ran a similar promotion for pre-orders with NewEgg, giving away Corsair H75 liquid coolers. However, Gigabyte’s promotion is available even for those who purchase after the pre-order date.

European Region

For the European region, Gigabyte is giving away Steam voucher codes. The value varies depending on the motherboard model. Naturally, the high-end X299 AORUS Gaming 7 and Gaming 9 get a €80 voucher. The X299 AORUS Ultra Gaming gets €60, while the X299 UD4 and Gaming 3 get €40.

This promo begins immediately on June 26, and runs until August 31st, 2017. This gives users plenty of time to research before upgrading to the platform if they have reservations. The offer however, is limited only to certain participating countries in the European Union. This includes Belgium, Czech Republic, Denmark, Finland, France, Germany, Italy, Luxembourg, Netherlands, Norway, Poland, Spain, Sweden, and Iceland.

To qualify, users have to register at the Gigabyte X299 microsite, and upload their receipt.

North American Region

North American users get quite a bit more than the European users. Bundled with their AORUS X299 purchase is the Gigabyte Xperience Pack. Each swag is specifically tailored to showcase some of the notable features of the AORUS motherboards (except for the hoodie). Inside each pack, users can find:

  • 1x AORUS Hoodie
  • 1-year subscription to Xsplit Gamecaster
  • LEDs from CableMods
  • 1x Limited Launch Edition Keyboard and Mousepad
  • Sennheiser CX3.00 In-Ear Headphones

Similar to the European promotion, users have to register their product upon purchase. After which, allow 6 to 8 weeks for processing and delivery.
