Gigabyte Xtreme Gaming XTC700 CPU Cooler Revealed

Gigabyte is on the offensive this week, not only have they been teasing their new Aorus motherboards, but now they’re also coming out with their own high-performance CPU cooler!

The new Xtreme Gaming XTC700 cooler looks stunning and comes in a tower form factor that should ensure excellent compatibility with a wide range of systems. With support for LGA2011v3, AM4, LGA115x, AM3(+), FM2(+), and LGA1366, it’s going to work well with all modern systems, and with a max TDP of >200W it’ll handle pretty much any CPU on the market, and should even have some overclocking headroom too.

The cooler uses three 10mm thick direct contact heat pipes, while the fans are designed to operate at 500-1700RPM and 12 – 31dBa using a 4-pin PWM connector. Featuring an aluminium fin stack and a unique shape for better heat dissipation, as well as a pair of 120mm fans in push/pull configurations, the XTC700 should be able to shift some serious heat. Aside from its cooling capabilities, it’s also rather good looking too, with a custom top-plate which features a lovely RGB LED Gigabyte Xtreme Gaming logo, giving you some extra customisation to play around with.

We’re eager to show you a lot more of this cooler, and since it’s sitting on our test bench right now, you won’t have long to wait! No word on pricing or release date just yet, but we’ll keep you posted.
