Gigabyte Z270X-Ultra Gaming LGA1151 Motherboard Review

Memory Performance

AIDA64 Engineer

In terms of memory bandwidth, the motherboard is fantastic and only the second Z270 product to achieve a write rate above 41000. Not only that, the read speed is the highest by a considerable margin and makes the lower-end results look quite ordinary.

Interestingly, the motherboard’s predecessor records the highest memory bandwidth figures and couldn’t be matched. Nevertheless, the new model has a very consistent memory bandwidth and rivals Gigabyte’s flagship Z270 solution.

Combined Latency Test

The Gigabyte Z270-Ultra Gaming’s memory latency is extremely low and deserves a great deal of praise.
