Gigabyte Z370N WiFi Ultra Durable Motherboard Review

A Closer Look
Now that I’ve got it out of the box, the Z370N WiFi makes a strong first impression, with a monochrome design that’s sure to blend in with virtually any system build. Of course, monochrome is a nice backdrop for the built-in RGB lighting too.
Modern GPUs are pretty heavy-duty, so an armoured PCIe slot is a nice touch for stability and it looks great too. The M.2 mount supports NVMe or Optane drives and comes with a very chunky heatsink for improved cooling performance.
There are two DDR4 slots, pretty standard for a mini-ITX motherboard. Also down the right side, four SATA 6Gbps ports, USB 3.0, some USB 2.0 headers, and RGB lighting headers.
Power delivery for the CPU comes from a single 8-pin, which is more than enough given a lot of mini-ITX use a single 4-pin. There are three fan headers at the top too, which is enough for your typical cooling needs.
The rear I/O is very well equipped, with six USB 3.0 ports, and a Type-C. There are three display outputs, with dual HDMI, and a DisplayPort, giving you a huge amount of flexibility there. Of course, dual LAN, and high-speed Wi-Fi give you even more flexibility for networking too.
Overall, this is a great looking motherobard. The VRM cooling looks robust, important hardware is armoured, and it packs a huge amount of features. Now, let’s find out how well it performs!
