It’s Z590 Launch day and Gigabyte have sent in one of their new Z590 AORUS Master Motherboards for us to put through its paces. With everything going on with this launch, we are quite excited to start testing the new CPUs and Motherboards and seeing just how good those performance gains are. As we know, the introduction of Intel’s 11th Gen CPUs and Z590 Motherboards brings WiFi 6E and PCIe4 over to team blue. While some may have already been using PCIe4 on an AMD platform, it will be nice to see those speeds on an 11th Gen CPU and Z590.
As we all know, AORUS is Gigabyte’s brand that focuses on gamer’s and their needs. Gamer’s have a lot of demands when it comes to their hardware and AORUS do a pretty good job at making sure these demands are met. AORUS boards are made from high-quality components and will feature the latest and greatest hardware advances to make sure you are getting the upper hand on your enemies.
While the Z590 AORUS Master is not the top board from Gigabyte, it is one of their betters boards and as such, comes with a whole host of features. You can find everything from support for Intel’s 11th Gen CPUs, to PCIe 4.0, WiFi 6E and more. The Master also features an advanced thermal design, 18+1 power phases for all our power and overclocking needs, USB 3.2 Gen2x2, ESS Sabre Hi-Fi 9118 DAC, 3x M.2 connections, RGB Fusion 2.0 and even Dual BIOS just in case anything goes wrong when overclocking or flashing the BIOS. This a very feature-packed board and should have almost everything one would need when upgrading to the new Z590 platform.

Unlike new Graphics Cards, Motherboards still come with quite a few manuals and accessories in their boxes. Gigabyte has included a standard User’s Manual booklet, an Installing APP Centre leaflet, a Multilingual Installation guide, an AORUS Badge and an A4 sheet of stickers and labels. While the stickers do look cool, some of them are also practical and can be used for things like helping to clearly labels cables inside your PC.
