The Z77X-UD5H comes in a standard ATX format on a black PCB with light blue accents to the heatsinks that surround the CPU socket and the chipset heastink. The DIMM slots and expansion lanes are black with all capacitors in a standard metal colour. We can see that the board has been fully utilised to pack in all the features that we see splashed across the box.
The socket 1155 that we find on the UD5H has plenty of space surrounding it for water cooling blocks, heatsink and all-in-one water cooling solutions, we can see just nestled below the heatsinks the VRMs and mosfets powering the processor.
Four DIMM slots are present on this board, working in dual-channel mode supporting up to 32Gb of DDR3 memory. Intel XMP profiles are fully supported with speeds of 1600/1333/1066MHz. The manual does state that 1600MHz speeds are only possible when using a 3rd generation processor, however as we know this speed would also be possible by overclocking the memory.
