Gigabyte Z77X-UD5H Z77 Motherboard Preview

Looking over what we have seen recently with the upcoming line-up of new boards from Gigabyte, the Z77X-UD5H is some thing special and shows a lot of potential for being a high performance board when paired with a 3rd Generation Intel CPU, and like we saw with Gigabyte’s other boards, there are a whole hows of new features that are no just physical such as the 3D BIOS and 3D power technologies.

Whilst there are certain aspects of the board which will require you to purchase a 3rd generation processor, even under Sandy Bridge, there is still a lot on offer and there is the potential for soe extreme performance from the Z77X-UD5H.

Its great to see that Gigabyte are adopting the mSATA slots directly onto their new boards and with Intel’s Smart Response Technology, users will be able to see a significant boost in their boot times and drive speeds whilst still maintaining the space of a mechanical drive. Following one with storage, the addition of three USB3.0 native headers on the board is one that we are particularly impressed with and we can’t see why this has not been adopted sooner, not just by Gigabyte.
