Gladiator Computers SNIPER Gaming PC Review

Gaming Performance
Grand Theft Auto 5
Grand Theft Auto V is certainly one of the most popular games ever released and a firm favourite with users considering a brand new system. As you can see, the Gladiator Computers SNIPER recorded very playable frame-rates even when the resolution is increased to 2560×1440. However, I wouldn’t recommend going beyond a 1080P display because you will experience noticeable hitching caused by severe frame drops.
Metro Last Light
Metro Last Light’s incredible tessellation effects and insane texture quality made the system drop below 60 frames-per-second during the 1080P benchmark. However, it’s still a very decent result when you consider the extremely high preset. Reducing the AF from x16 to x8 and limiting the tessellation detail should make 60 frames-per-second a viable target.
Tomb Raider
The system’s 1920×1080 performance puzzled me given the large deficit to its closest rival. Initially, I thought this could have been to do with the dual core CPU inhibiting the GPU’s potential. However, this theory was quickly quashed when the 1440P frame-rate surpassed the Vibox Defcon 3 Red.
Bioshock Infinite
Setting the resolution to 1920×1080 creates a superb user experience with a perfectly stable frame-rate. I didn’t encounter any dips throughout the testing procedure and it’s staggering how much performance you can get for under £425.
