How Much Does it Cost?

The Glorious Model D Wireless RGB Optical Gaming Mouse is available now from OCUK for around £80-90, depending on the version you want. There are black and white versions to choose from, all with RGB. However, you can choose from a matte finish or a glossy finish to suit your taste. There’s the D and the D-, one is a tiny bit smaller and lighter, and it’s the smaller D- that I reviewed. However, they’re otherwise the same mouse. Overview

Glorious founded their company as PC gaming enthusiasts making stuff for other PC gaming enthusiasts, and I think that really shows in their output. There’s less of a corporate “get lots of products to market” vibe and no filler in their range. They’re very focused on listening to user feedback too, resulting in multiple configurations of each mouse being made available to see your budget and gaming requirements, which I really appreciate.

This mouse is about as good as it gets too, the price isn’t a bargain, but given the sensor, wireless hardware, overall build quality and presentation, it’s certainly competitive with other big-name brands. If money is an issue, then of course, I strongly suggest the wired model which is effectively half the price.

Great quality switches and a fantastic sensor created with the help of Pixart make this a very competitive mouse. Its performance was absolutely faultless, and the wireless functionality made this ultralight design even more nimble. Having this much freedom on such a light mouse is nice, just be careful a strong breeze doesn’t blow it away!

The weight saving may not be for everyone, but when it comes to gaming, having less resistance is welcome. You can make fast and small adjustments with minimal effort. However, the weight is one part, the high-quality slipmats on the base help a lot too, as it glides like it’s on ice.

Should I Buy One?

For a comfortable and stylish wireless mouse in the home office, it’s a perfect fit. I’ve been playing Elder Scrolls Online a lot again, and my daughter has been playing Sliter.io on this mouse a lot recently too, and I can’t fault it. However, if you’re taking your gaming very seriously, either in competitive multiplayer or on the eSports scene, the faultless wireless, long battery life, fully programmable buttons, and superb sensor are all welcome positives.
