Last month, I reviewed my first Glorious PC Gaming Race mouse, the Model O Ultralight, and it was pretty fantastic. Today, I get to kick things up to the next level, with the latest Model D- Wireless RGB Optical Gaming Mouse gracing my desktop! This is one of their flagship models, offering all the latest features that are sure to appeal to everyone from eSports players to at-home gamers.
It’s certainly a well-equipped mouse, offering up the state-of-the-art BAMF sensor that delivers 400 IPS and 19,000 DPI. It was designed in collaboration with PixArt to ensure it delivers class-leading performance. The lightweight design (69g) means it should be a breeze to move, especially combined with the G-Skate to ensure it has low traction on your gaming surface. There’s lag-free 2.4GHz wireless, so you have freedom of movement, but there’s also USB-C for charging or wired play should you need it. The Model D is one of their most popular products, but this is the D-, and that’s not because it got a bad grade, but because it’s ever so slightly smaller and lighter than the standard model.
“Just when you thought the Glorious Model D Gaming Mouse couldn’t get any better, a wireless model appears! Connecting via 2.4GHz wireless, the Glorious Model D Wireless Optical Gaming Mouse has the lowest latency amongst top-tier mice. Utilising the latest technology, this gaming mouse won’t drop connection so you can confidently game. What’s more, with its 71-hour battery life you can game for longer between charges. When it does drop low, simply plug in the provided USB charging cable and continue to play. Much like its wired counterpart, the Glorious Model D Wireless is ergonomic and lightweight. Weighing only 69g, the shell shape has been contoured to provide excellent comfort while reducing strain and fatigue. With this optical mouse, you will be able to work all day and play through the night – all in premium comfort.” – Glorious @ OCUK
