The battle for ultra-light supremacy has been brilliant, as there are so many great gaming mice out there, but trying to be the best and the lightest is no easy task. All major brands have been in this fight now, shedding weight from the body of the mouse, changing switches, sensors, cables and more to stay competitive. For eSports gamers to at-home gamers who just want something more comfortable and nimble, there’s a lot to love about ultra-light gaming mice. However, Glorious has a hell of a reputation already for great gaming mice, but amazingly, I’ve never in my life used one, so this is my first, and I can’t wait to see what all the fuss is about!
It may have been on a diet, but it’s no lightweight when it comes to features. It features the latest Pixart 3360 sensor, promising zero acceleration, pixel-perfect tracing, 1000 Hz polling rates, and a low lift-off height (under 0.7mm). It has a max DPI of 12000 and will track at 250+ IPS, with 50G acceleration. It’s equipped with Omron Mechanical switches (20M), RGB lighting, G-Skates Premium Mouse Feet, and their Ascended Cord Ultra-Flexible USB cable. The end result is a competitive mouse that weighs just 67 grams for the matte and 68 grams for the glossy finish. However, if you order the slightly smaller O- model, that’s 58 grams and 59 grams respectively.
“Envisioned by a community of passionate gamers, and developed by a team who accepts nothing less than perfection – Model O will elevate your play to unimaginable heights. Built for speed, control, and comfort – we packed a full suite of ultra-premium features into an impossibly lightweight, ambidextrous frame. Welcome to the next level of Competitive E-Sports level gaming. Prepare for Ascension.” – Glorious
