Google + adds a games section

The Google + social networking service has officially added a games section today. There are a lot of well known gaming titles on offer Angry Birds, Bejeweled and Sudoko. Google is hoping these new games will help users spend much more time using their Google + service by keeping them busy.

If you click on a button at the top of your stream you will get a drop down list of all the titles available, as well as who of your friends are playing what game, high scores between you and your friends and competitions available to partake in. Game updates will also be displayed so you can keep in the know on the latest games and the latest versions of your favourite games. Google says they have not rolled out this new service to everyone just yet but it will be a reasonably quick process and most people will have it by the end of the week.
