Google Can Now Choose the Right Smartphone for Your Personalised Needs

It’s hard to se your mind on just one smartphone when you have so many to choose from, isn’t it? The good news is that Google can now do that for you, but of course it will only display its now Android handsets. If an Android phone is what you want to buy, then give Google a chance and let it show you some of its suggestions.

The search giant has just launched a website that allows Android users to choose the best smartphone tailored for their needs. Judging from the website, Google is using its own data processing algorithms to get the best results possible. This means it will ask you a lot of questions, however you may choose to answer only the basic or go deeper and give it more details for a more tailored result.

The initial questions involve how you normally use your phone, namely for taking pictures, calling, texting, using social media or listening to music, and so on. By selecting a feature, the website will take you to another page where it asks how long you are using the latter features for. If you do it right, Google will predict the best results for your needs.

I personally received some pretty neat ones, including the Nexus 6 which I was eyeing for quite some time. So to be fair, it really does lay down some solid results should you wish to use it. However, bear in mind that the website will show phones available only in the US, but you will figure that out yourselves when it asks what mobile carrier you are using.

All in all, you may skip the carrier selection and go straight to the smartphone results. Even if it misses some European or other phones available in specific markets, it does give you a general idea of what you need to choose to best suit your needs.
