Google’s Chrome browser is rapidly becoming the most popular browser overtaking Firefox in many markets and gaining on Internet Explorer with staggering speed if you consider it has only been around for about 3 years.
The Google Chrome 14 update can be done manually if your Chrome browser hasn’t done it for you automatically and the Chrome 14 download can be found here.
Google says there have been two major changes to Chrome 14 over Chrome 13 which will allow developers to create better, more powerful and more functional web applications and games:
- The web audio API allows developers to add new audio effects such as room simulation and spatialization effects.
- Native client has been updated to allow the simultaneous in-browser execution of C and C++ coding which is safe and secure and not vulnerable to attacks.
