Google Chrome Adds Bold Malware Warnings

In an effort to reduce malware infections through its browser, Google has added pop-up warnings to Chrome that warns users that the site they are trying to visit “might attempt to trick you into installing programs that harm your browsing experience”.

Google has also updated the framework of its search engine to exclude potentially dangerous sites from it search results.

The move towards stronger security comes in the wake of Google’s new security check-up, that reviews your Google sign-in activity and app permissions, released in conjunction with Safer Internet Day last month.
