Google Instant is Going Mobile

Following the release of Google Instant into the mainstream in September, the internet search giant is now making the search platform available to mobile users.
Initially the new search function, now in its Beta stages, will only be available on the iPhone iOS4 and Andriod 2.2 platforms in the US. With this only being a beta release there is bound to be the odd niggle here and there and will only work once activated, but even still the new service will speed up the browsing experience, with the service offering its best on 3G and WiFi connections.
Google reckons that this boost in speed is down to the AJAX and HTML5 functions for the mobile platform that will constantly update the current page with results without the need to load a new page for each query.
Whilst Google are testing the new service in it Beta stages, they are working on support for other mobile platforms and functionality in other languages and countries.
