We first heard about the possible existence of the Google Nexus 10 in July, shortly after the Nexus 7 was released, and rumours have developed from there over the past few months.
Google has an event scheduled for October 29 in New York where it’s expected to unveil the next Nexus smartphone plus it could also announce some new Nexus 7 tablets, alongside the Google Nexus 10.
We’ve not seen anything so far regarding a potential Google Nexus 10 price, but if the 10-inch tablet does exist we’d expect Google to price it keenly and undercut the competition.
Early reports said the Google Nexus 10 would sport a 10-inch display, offering up an impressive, new iPad 4 beating 2560 x 1600 resolution and 299ppi pixel density.
An image appeared on Picasa claiming to have been taken on the Google Nexus 10, and the EXIF data which accompanied the snap claimed the tablet was sporting a 5MP sensor and running a version of Jelly Bean.
Then the leaked video report, which we’ve already mentioned, revealed for information about the Google Nexus 10 – codenamed Mantra – saying that it will sport a 16:10 10-inch display with 300ppi and run Android 4.2 Jelly Bean.
Finally a leaked quick start guide which claims to be for the Google Nexus 10 shows off some crude outlines of the potential tablet, which looks like it will follow in the design footsteps of the Galaxy Note 10.1.
