According to new reports emerging from Tinhte via Unwired the Google Nexus 5 will have a Snapdragon 800 CPU like previously reported and not a Snapdragon 600 CPU. In the past couple of days extensive rumours have been circulating about whether the Nexus 5 would be made by Motorola, and whether it would use a Snapdragon 600 or 800 CPU. Now reports confirm it will be made by LG, use the Snapdragon 800 CPU and be based on the LG G2 smartphone handset.
The Nexus 5 will have full HD 1080p touchscreen display, and of course a Snapdragon 800 CPU, thought it’s not known if this inclusion will change the device’s price considering it was previously going to use the cheaper Snapdragon 600 CPU. The Nexus 5 is expected to be similar to the LG G2 but it won’t be an exact copy either and there will be a lot of design variation – to the same extent that the LG Nexus 4 is not exactly identical to the LG Optimus G that it is based on.
The Google Nexus 5 is expected to be revealed in Q4 of this year .
