Google’s Nexus 7 has yet to make it to most consumers, even those that pre-ordered the highly anticipated 7″ tablet. Some consumers got their hands on the Nexus 7 last Friday, we expect many more to be able to get their hands on the Google Nexus 7 this week. Google did state for the first bunch of pre-orders, that post 11th July was when consumers were likely to be able to get the Nexus 7. However, since 11th of July has passed and only a fraction of pre-orders have been fulfilled we expect many more to come this week.
UK customers should also be getting their Nexus 7s this week as well, at minimum the first 2 or 3 thousands people that pre-ordered. At Google’s Play store it clearly states that you need to wait one to two weeks before your tablet gets shipped but there are no guarantees that this timeline will actually be precise.
If anyone has ordered a Nexus 7 from Google or any other retailer it’d be great if you could drop us a comment letting us know when you received yours and what country you are based in.
You can see Google’s “official tweet” (if there ever was such a thing) on the shipping of pre-order Nexus’ here.
