Google has been pushing their campaign for free internet for sometime, but it has done so by providing it in one of the busiest cities in the world. It is now offering free Wi-Fi access in Manhattan and NYC. The company teamed up with the Chelsea Improvement company to provide Wi-Fi in a very large area. As of now, Mountain View, California also has free Wi-Fi from Google.
But Google’s spokesperson said that the company does not have plans to implement free Wi-Fi access in any other cities.
The Search Giant is also planning to offer 1Gb/s broadband at very low prices to ISPs, even offering TV Packages and free 5Mb/s connections to schools and hospitals.
