Nvidia 30 Series Cards
Now moving onto the 30 series cards and we can see that the RTX 3090 Ti has decreased quite dramatically since May which is well below its MSRP and the cheapest we’ve seen the card in a long time. Now would be a good time for anyone after the top end of the 30 series however with the 40 series coming in only a little bit more expensive, you’ll have to decide between what’s better for you. We can see that there isn’t much data to go on when looking at the 3080 12gb and the price hasn’t changed at all from June last year all the way through to May of this year and that’s because throughout the months we have struggled to find any in stock as it is slowly coming off the shelves. However this month we did find some and the price has increased by A LOT, so at this point the 3080 is kind of redundant, especially with the 40 series cards outperforming it for similar prices.
Looking at the 30 series cards we can see that some of the higher end cards in the stack are slowly rising back up in price like the 3080 Ti and RTX 3090 while the RTX 3090 Ti has taken quite a drop. Since February 2023 the 3090 Ti has been increasing in price every month up until July when it dropped drastically down from $1893 all the way down to $1215 which actually leaves it below the RTX 3090. The opposite can be said for the 3090, which we can see has actually increased a lot since May now sitting at $1271. The other cards in the stack have been pretty consistent throughout, all increasing or decreasing around the $100 mark but nothing of real significance.
