AMD 7000 Series Cards
Finally looking at the data for the 7000 series cards and we can see that the prices still reflect performance. The RX 7900 XTX sits at the top of the stack and for the first time is lower than its launch price coming in at £1000 this month saving you some money to put towards some memory or even a new CPU. However, the same can’t be said for the RX 7600 as it has stayed consistently at its £259 launch price. Granted its launch was only in May of this year, but it would be nice to see the price go down slightly, especially considering the 8GB VRAM put a lot of gamers off so who is actually buying it? The RX 7900 XT has been on the decline over the past months, but has started to work its way back up again which is frustrating as it’s one card that we may clear at launch was too close to the price of its bigger brother, so even though it is below it’s MSRP by around £100, and does now come in at sub £800, I feel like it has a little way more to go personally.
Finally looking at the 7000 cards, we can see that both the 7900 XT and the 7900 XTX both followed nearly the same exact path and have gradually decreased as the months have gone on leaving them both cheaper than their original launch prices. With the RX 7600 only releasing in May this year there isn’t a lot to compare it to other than its MSRP, in which it has stayed the same since but again, as the card hasn’t proven to be massively popular, it could start to drop in the near future.
