It’s been quite a mountain to climb to get our new test bench built, and re-test so many cards. When you factor in multiple test runs, resolutions, software installs and more, it’s easy to see why this took a few weeks around our usual review schedule. Of course, now we have a new baseline of performance that factors in the latest games, drivers, settings and more. Going forward, we’ll now have a more fair comparison for upcoming graphics cards.
We’ve got a few new RTX GPUs in for launch, and so help me, I’m still waiting on the RX 590 from AMD! With the new year almost here, perhaps we’ll have some true next-gen cards from AMD sooner than later also. Either way, it’s going to be a fun year for gamers.
