The leaks for Grand Theft Auto have been coming thick and fast this last few weeks, first we had people torrenting the game, then we had a huge wave of people uploading images, gameplay videos, cheats, secrets and more to sites like YouTube and internet forums. This was then followed by people hacking the games code and finding XML data that pointed towards PlayStation 4 and PC editions of the game, so what else can there be to leak now?
While we’ve already seen Amazon UK, Amazon Germany and Amazon France list Grand Theft Auto V as an item for PC, albeit lacking a release date, we have now seen that Gameseek UK and Zavvi UK are listing the item, both of which feature release dates of November 22nd and December 6th respectively, both very close dates and the difference likely relates to regional release dates.
Rockstar are holding their ground and near flat out denying that GTA V is coming to PC, or even next-gen consoles, but one cannot ignore the evidence and that evidence is mounting faster than Rockstar can silence it. Leaked XML data, leaked cover art on official websites such as Amazon, pre-order listings cropping up and then being taken down, not to mention the complete lack of reasoning why nearly all gameplay footage and trailers released by Rockstar look significantly better than the actual gameplay on PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360, what edition were they playing?
Hopefully there is some truth to these dates, if so we only have around 60 days to wait for PC GTA V! Afterall, it wouldn’t be the first or last time something was flat out denied right up until the announcement, despite mounting evidence.
